Pre assessment blog

Pre assessment blog
So far in MPI104 I have acheived many things and learned how to use certain things within the internet such: blogger, Del.icio.us, Flickr and the full uses of google signing up for all of these websites and trying to remeber the usernames and passwords for all of them was a bit of a pain. blogger was the first of the websites the online blog site which I have changed the layout of and posted a few blogs and commented on some other class mates blogs. Flickr was the second of the websites so far i have uploaded some concept artwork that i like, also i have uploaded some ofmy drawings and also some pictures of the some bass guitars. Lastly(besides google an Gmail) is Del.icio.us this website i found pretty pointless but did what i was supposed to do and bookmarked some of my favourite website such as the All that remains webpage and the Trivium webpage also some other pages were uploaded. Besides signing up for various websites i also learnt some HTML coding my webpage coding which i saved to my drafts on my gmail (I didnt see were else i could save it) I also applied for webspace and emailed Katrina all of my details for all of my websites and set tags for most things on all of my webpages. Anyways once again fulfilling my criteria for the subject

Templates

Many things can be changed using the templates of blogger such as:
Fonts
Page elements
and colours

I have changed the colours of my links and texts on my blog as well as my heading and some of my page layout adding elements to it but i think that my fonts will suffice for now

have fun with the new blog!

Advantages of CSS

Some of the advantages of CSS (cascading style sheets) include:
*it's ability to change layouts with ease
*it reduces the file size making the coding easier to read rather than then line after line of HTML
*greater hit ratio from search engines
*makes it more accessible to those who wish to veiw your webpage (the visually impared or disabled)
*allows for consistency throughout your webpage
There are some of the advantages of CSS so give it a try!
